Offering complementary therapies and a holistic approach to veterinary care

When it comes to caring for your pet, choosing the right option can be daunting. I have over 20 years in both traditional and alternative veterinary medicine offering a wide range of holistic veterinary practices for your dog or cat.

Cute small dog receiving acupuncture

Drawing from Eastern medicine and herbalism, complementary therapies can be combined with traditional veterinary services or work on their own to replace prescriptions and invasive surgeries

Veterinary Chiropractic

As with people, routine spinal manipulation may help your animal’s joint health- keeping them active for many years to come!

Veterinary Acuupuncture

Acupuncture isn’t just for humans! It has been used on animals for thousands of years to help with inflammatory and non-infectious pain such as arthritis, muscle soreness, and hip dysplasia.

Eastern Medicine

Chinese medicine takes a holistic view of veterinary care by viewing the animal’s system as a whole through a combination of herbal medicine, nutritional considerations, and massage.

Naturopathy and Homeopathy

Utilizing the body’s natural defense mechanism, homeopathy seeks to strengthen the immune response through herbs, minerals, and natural compounds.

Amazing! I never thought I’d be taking my cat for acupuncture appointments. We tried other medications but none of them provided relief from her back pain, and if they did, the side effects were severe and unpleasant. I was referred to Dr. Sperlich because I wanted to try some alternative treatments, rather than meds and surgery. I didn’t think they would even have luck administering the acupuncture treatment because, well….she’s a typical sassy cat. I’m happy to say my cat is thriving! She’s no longer in need of her pain medication and she’s playing and running again. She’s much more social and involved with the family like she used to be!

Absolutely one of the best in care…a refreshing take at integrative/holistic veterinary care. The chiropractic care, trained specifically for animals, has been an amazing approach that has greatly helped for mobility. We look forward to care for many more years.
